Obituary
Philip Gregory Richardson, Sr., the 3rd child born to Eugene A. and Dorothy Maria Williams Richardson of Havre De Grace, Maryland was born on November 17, 1952. He departed this life on Wednesday, January 19, 2022.
Philip attended and graduated from Havre De Grace Consolidated School and Havre De Grace High School. He received an Associate Degree from Harford Community College, Bel Air, MD in Mass Communications.
Philip joined the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, AZ (Active Duty, January 1972 to August 1975). He served as Medical Supply Specialist, Staff Sergeant, (E-4) responsible for inventory/shipping/receiving medical supplies for regional USAF hospitals in Tucson, Arizona and Okinawa, Japan. Also, Philip joined the 135th Airlift Group, Baltimore, MD (Air National Guard), serving as Technical Sergeant (E-6), from January1979 to September 1999. As Video Production Specialist, he produced training videos and general photography in support of various missions, event documentation and humanitarian relief. Also served as primary video editor using non-linear editing systems to produce presentations, gaining valuable experience as USAF Combat Camera Tech, in setting up/teardown and movement of ruggedized video production equipment.

Philip’s last job would be the job of his dreams with Linchpin Solutions/KLAS, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. He couldn’t stop talking about how great this company is to work for. He couldn’t tell you much, since most of his jobs throughout his civilian career required secret or top secret clearances. He liked saying, “If I tell you what I do, I’ll have to kill you.

Great coworker, friend, and man. Always had the time to stop and say hello where ever you saw him. Whenever we ran into each other it was "Order up!" from In living Color. Lots of laughs and will be missed. Prayers to the family. Dougie

I met Phil during a TDY project in El Paso, Texas. Upon our return, he bought my motorcycle from me when I decided to upgrade to a larger model. I later worked with him on several projects at Aberdeen Proving Ground. He was always a pleasure to work with! My sincerest condolences to Phil’s family and friends. May he Rest In Peace❤️

Sorry to hear of Phil's passing. We worked together for many a year and on various projects. He was always a joy to be with and things would be finished in a very professional manner. We enjoyed many wonderful chats when he would stop by my house to just shoot the BULL!! RIP my friend...
