Mary Thomas Kaplan

Mary Thomas Kaplan of Aberdeen, died April 29, 2004 at Lorien Bel Air Assisted Living Center in Bel AIr, MD. She was 84 Mrs. Kaplan was born in Pitman, NJ to the late Harry King and Margaret (Smith) Thomas. She was married to the late Morris D. Kaplan, who died in 1920. Mrs. Kaplan was a homemaker who loved playing cards, bakinggardening and spending time with her family. She was an expert knitter and a cub scout mother. She is survived by a son Dr. Lawrence A. Kaplan and his wife Bonnie of Churchville, MD and a daughter Susan K. Murphy and her husband Pastor Brian Murphy of Scottsdale, AZ. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00AM at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, P.A. with Pastor Murphy officiating. The viewing will be held on Monday from 7-9PM also at the Funeral Home. Interment will be at Harford Memorial Gardens. Family and friends may make contributions to the American Diabetes Association.
