Ms. Berger was my kindergarden teacher 44 years ago. I am now 49 and formerly of Aberdeen. I read the Aegis on line and saw the obituary today. I truely loved her and wish I could be there to extend my condolances to her family. She was a wonderful woman. God bless her and her family. Diane Fendlay

May each of you find comfort in knowing that God is "near to those that are broken at heart: and those who are crushed in spirit he saves." (Psalm 34:18) Take care,

Dorothy, her sister and two brothers were terrific neighbors during the many years we lived in the house across Baltimore Street from each other in Aberdeen. My children all enjoyed that foursome so much. We shared a mutual friend, Mabel Stansbury who originally worked for my parents in our house and later worked for the Bergers over many years. Surely they are all enjoying a marvelous reunion.

Mrs. Berger was my kindergarden teacher in the early 1960's. I still remember her and her great classes at the old USO Building. Bless her and her family. Michael Gustave
