Ruth Jewell Storey

A most kind, thoughtful friend

The world lost a very special woman when Ruth Storey passed from it. I have never met a person with more kindness and love in her heart. I met her when I was 17 years old and I loved her then and to this day I still love her. I remember the special times we shared, the many things that she taught me, and the wonderful memories I will always have of her. She will be missed greatly.

Mrs Storey was such a kind & gentle person - an inspiration to all who had the opportunity to cross paths with her. I hope knowing that so many others share your sorrow offers some comfort to the family.

I met Ruth through the Aberdeen Fire Department many years ago. She was a true blessing to be around. Her kindness and generosity was an inspiration to us all. Thank you Ruth for all you have done for family, friends and community services. It was our privilege to have you in our lives. You will be missed.

Ruth Storey was one of the most kind, patient and sweetest woman I knew. She loved her family. She was very patient, especially when when Diane and I were together as teenagers! For many years, she always purchased a miniature from me at the annual Fire House Christmas Craft Show. She will be surely missed.
