The world lost a very special woman when Ruth Storey passed from it. I have never met a person with more kindness and love in her heart. I met her when I was 17 years old and I loved her then and to this day I still love her. I remember the special times we shared, the many things that she taught me, and the wonderful memories I will always have of her. She will be missed greatly.

Mrs Storey was such a kind & gentle person - an inspiration to all who had the opportunity to cross paths with her. I hope knowing that so many others share your sorrow offers some comfort to the family.

Ruth Storey was one of the most kind, patient and sweetest woman I knew. She loved her family. She was very patient, especially when when Diane and I were together as teenagers! For many years, she always purchased a miniature from me at the annual Fire House Christmas Craft Show. She will be surely missed.

Having grown up on Robin Hood Road, I had the privilege of knowing Ruth for many formative years of my life. Having been dear friends with her youngest daughter Sandy, Ruth became my adopted mom. I dare not list all of the wonderful things Ruth taught me as the pages would go on and on. Her legacy has been clearly expressed by others who have posted their memories of this wonderful soul: she modeled a purity and goodness unlike anything I have every found anywhere else in this great world. My family sends our sincerest condolences her family and to all who knew her. She will continue to be loved by many.
