Robert B. Cox

Robert Bernelle Cox of Aberdeen died Monday, July 6 at Lorien @ Riverside. He was 85. Born in Sparta, Illinois he was the son of the late Edward Bernelle and Lillian (Weidner) Cox. Mr. Cox retired from civil service from APG and went on to work at Hinder Ford. An active member of Grace United Methodist Church, he served as an usher and former leader of the MYF, he was a member of the Independent Order of the Odd Fellows, Blenheim 102 and he enjoyed fishing and computer games, especially pinochle. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Pauline E. (Schumm) Cox; son, Bernie Cox of Perryville; daughter, Shari Hutton of Street; grandchildren, Lindsay Cox, Robert Cox, Brittany Albright, Zachery Taylor, David Grace and Matthew Hutton; great granddaughter, Mia Cox; brother, Arkelle Cox of, GA and his sisters Judy Wheeler of, AL and Donna Ebright of, PA. A visitation will be on Wednesday, July 15 at Grace United Methodist Church from 10:30am-12:00pm with a funeral service conducted by Dr. Robert Clipp to begin at 12:00pm.
