Frances Caroline Spies Meeks Symanski of Annapolis passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at Annapolitan Assisted Living in Annapolis. She was 90.
Born in Harford Furnace, MD she was the daughter of the late George and Annie (Novatny) Spies and wife to the late Robert E. Meeks who died in 1986 and Stehen Szymanski who died in 2014.
A retired clerk for the US Government, Mrs. Szymanski, was a member of the Aberdeen Golden Age Club and of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Aberdeen.
She is survived by her children Mark Meeks of Pittsburg, CA, Donna Meeks of Annapolis and Stepson; Stephen Szymanski, Jr. of Dundalk.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on the 14th of April, 2025 at 10:00 am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 222 Law St., Aberdeen, MD 21001. Interment will be at Harford Memorial Gardens.
