Obituary
Rita Ann Matherly of Aberdeen died Saturday, August 15 at Mercy Hospital. She was 64.
Born in Jefferson, NC she was the daughter of Guida Lorene (Mullis) Adams and the late Ray Adams.
Mrs. Matherly had been the manager for several Hardees' and McDonald's in the Harford and Cecil County areas. She loved scrapbooking and cats.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, John E. Matherly; daughters, Angel Otto of Jarrettsville and Krista Matherly of Evans, GA; her son, Stephen DuBree, Jr. of PA; brothers, Dennis Adams of Bel Air, Mark Adams of North East and Tim Adams of Aberdeen; sister, Rose Mary Citro of Whitemarsh; grandchildren, Austin, Jake, J.D. and Zack. She is also survived by her beloved dog Leo. In addition to her father she was predeceased by her brother Steve Adams in 1997.
A visitation will be held at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, P.A. on Thursday, August 20 from 5-7pm where a memorial service conducted by Rev. Harrold Hubble will begin at 7:00pm.
