I served as a corpsman in Pete's platoon in Vietnam. All I have of him are fond memories. He was always kidding around with all of us. He lost his teeth before he was in the bush and we always called him Grandpa when he smiled because all of his teeth were missing. He told me a few years back that he was still wearing the teeth that were made for him by a Vietnamese back in DaNang. Pete was very special. God Bless.
