Hazel Alfreda "Freda" Phillips

Hazel Alfreda "Freda" Phillips died January 20, 2016 at her home in Aberdeen. She was 92. Born in Forest Hill, MD she was the daughter of the late Guy Allison and Gertrude (Lowe) Norris and step-daughter of the late W. Scott Norris, Sr. She was the wife of the late Thomas O. Phillips, who died in 1983. Mrs. Phillips was a home maker, who enjoyed listening to country music and watching wrestling on television with her son Tony. She is survived by her sons, T. Richard Phillips of Street and Tony B. Phillips of Aberdeen; daughters. Deborah S. Lassen of Aberdeen, Linda D. Day of Forest Hill and Tammi L. Burns of Aberdeen; brothers, Homer Allison of La Plata, MD, John Norris of Street and W. Scott Norris, Jr. of TX; her sister, Wanda Miller of Port Richey, FL, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by three brothers and one sister. A visitation will be held at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home on Saturday, January 30 from 10:00am-11:00am where a funeral service will begin at 11:00am. Interment will be in Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
