Aunt Louise left a legacy of warmth, love, support and caring. My fondest memories include the many weekend visits I spent in Havre de Grace with her and Uncle Francis while showing my Border Terrier, Quincy, up north. Aunt Louise always had treats for Quincy, Uncle Francis walked him, and Quincy loved both their laps. My most tender memory centers around the last time Aunt Louise stayed with us. The highlight of the visit was a trip to the Boyds Bears Store in PA. Aunt Louise took a fancy to a particular stuffed bear and kept returning to see and play with it, while insisting that she didn't actually want to bring the bear home. My husband, Dave, and I surprised her with the bear that evening. The next day, when we drove Aunt Louise home, I could see, in the rearview mirror, that she was cuddling the bear all the way back!

I knew and worked with Louise for many, many years. She was a lovely person and we have lost a model citizen and caring person.
