Mr. Joel was one of the popular father volunteers to Boy Scout Troop 961 in Aberdeen when I was growing up -- he was a real nice man and lots of fun. He and son Tim gave me many rides home from our Scout meetings -- I believe Mr. Joel's car had a push-button gear selector and it always intrigued me. I have many good, lasting memories of Mr. Joel and Tim.

Kenny Was one of the sweetest, most beautiful people I have ever known. He was a friend to all he met and kind to all of God's creatures. I remember Kenny visiting over the years while I was growing up but it was not until later that I learned how close he had always been to my Uncle John Kearney, my mother Jane Keena, My grandfather Frank Kearney and my Dad, Richard Keena. For many years now Kenny and my Mom have been wonderful companions and brought each other amazing comfort and love. I believe they were brought together to care for each other. I am deeply grateful for the time they had together and grieve the loss of such a kind, loving person. I will miss him and pray that he be brought gently to the loving arms our Father in heaven.

Kenny was the beloved partner of our mother, Jane Keena, for 16 plus years. They shared a relationship full of love, acceptance, and mutual devotion. Kenny would visit Jane for a week every month throughout their life together. They would attend musicals and dramas together, dine out, celebrate family events and holidays. Kenny became a family member for all of us. He was a truly loving man who enriched our mother's later years and all of our lives. We are so grateful to have shared his life and so grateful for his devotion to our mother, who will always hold him in her heart. As will all her family. Kathy Keena, (daughter of Jane Keena)
