Glenna Deane Danz

Glenna D. Danz of Aberdeen died Monday, July 4 at Citizens Care & Rehabilitation Center. She was 76. Born in Marion County, NC she was the daughter of the late Kenneth & Ruth (Mitchell) Boone. Mrs. Danz had been employed as a bookkeeper for Calvert Fire Insurance Company. An active member of Grace United Methodist Church, she was a member of the Ann Kemper Circle and of Al-Anon. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Edward C. Danz, Jr.; son, Thomas Danz of Baltimore; daughter, Deborah Danz of Morgantown, WV; sister, Linda Maguire of Abingdon and her grandchild, WO Cheyenne Danz. A visitation will be held at Grace United Methodist church on Thursday, July 21 from 10-11:00 where a memorial service conducted by Dr. Robert Clipp will begin at 11:00am.
