Elizabeth "Libby" Margaret Testerman

Elizabeth "Libby" Margaret Testerman of Conowingo died Wednesday, August 10 at the Sen. Bob Hooper House. She was 86. Born in Carteret, NJ she was the daughter of the late James R. and Velma (White) Miller and wife of the late William S. Testerman who died in 2000. Mrs. Testerman had worked in retail sales. She was the Treasurer for many years at both New Beginning Baptist Church in Rising Sun, where she was a member and at Trinity Free Will Baptist Church in Darlington She is survived by her sons, David J. Testerman and wife Emma of Conowingo, William S. Testerman and wife Donna of Perryman and Donald E. Testerman and wife Brenda of NC; daughters, Donna M. Sargable and husband Mark of Conowingo and Norma Jean Byrd and husband Ronnie of Mt. Airy, NC; sister, Hilda Tatum of Edgewood; 16 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sons, Michael G. Testerman in 2001 and Roger D. Testerman in 2010 and her brother James Miller. A visitation will be held at Trinity Free Will Baptist Church, 3414 Cedar Church Rd, Darlington, MD on Sunday, August 14 from 6-8pm where a funeral service conducted by Rev. Mark Rudd and Rev. Donnie Cogdill will be held on Monday, August 15 at 11:00am. Interment will be in Darlington Cemetery with her grandsons serving as pallbearers. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Sen.
