Obituary
Edward H. Davis of Aberdeen died Thursday, September 1 at Perry Point VAMC. He was 82.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA he was the son of the late John and Ellen (Hargraves) Davis.
Mr. Davis retired from the U. S. Army. He was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and the Military Order of the Purple Heart.
He is survived by his wife Connie Davis of Aberdeen; sons, Scott Davis of Frederick, MD and Keith Davis of Conowingo; brothers, Julius Kozak and Thomas Bidwick; sister, Ellen Buonemani and his grandchildren, Joshua, Karianah, Krystian, Kasondra and Kameryn Davis.
A visitation will be held at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home on Monday, September 5 from 6-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 6 at 10:00am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.

I was looking at the Aegis today and to my surprise I saw Edward's obituary. He was my Supervisor at the Directorate of Law Enforcement and Security when I was at the Vehicle Registration Office. He was an excellent supervisor. I know he will be missed by many persons in the community. I send my deepest sympathy to the family at this time. I understand only too well because I lost both parents. His legacy will live on forever.
