Bernice Catherine James

Bernice C. James, a lifelong resident of Aberdeen, MD, passed peacefully on Sept. 30, 2016. She was 95 years old and died at home. She had a gentle soul and was always kind to everyone. She loved reading and watching her favorite TV shows; especially westerns. She was predeceased by her parents, Jacob Gilbert James, Sr. and Emma Louisa Leight, her sisters Naomi James, Thelma James, Olive James and her brothers, Jacob Gilbert James, Jr. and Edward Roy James. She is survived by her nieces, Barbara Walker of Elkton, MD, and Diana James of Albuquerque, NM and her nephew David James of Monteagle, TN. She is also survived by her great nephew, Andrew Nelson and her great niece, Katelyn Stoker. She also had a chance to get to know her great-great nephew.
