Obituary
Hurley "Danny" Short, Jr. of Aberdeen died Thursday, February 9. He was 63.
Born in Richlands, VA he was the son of Geneva (Helbert) Short of Aberdeen and the late Hurley D. Short, Sr.
Mr. Short was the owner and operator of H & S Auto's. He loved fishing, football (especially the Ravens'), antique cars, and spending time with his extended family.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son Mark D. Short Jennifer K. Short and wife of Schnecksville, PA; sisters, Sandra Bowman and husband Donald of Aberdeen, Melissa Stone of Port Deposit and Angela Visser of Port Deposit and his grandson, David Troy Hohman. In addition to his father he was predeceased by his sister, Judy Grace.
A visitation will be held at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home on Monday, February 13 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm where a funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, February 14. Interment will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery.

Danny will be missed by many. A life taken away from us way to soon. I will always treasure the times I was honored to be in his presence. His spirit and wonderful smile will live on in my memories and thoughts of him. So sorry for the family.
