Gary Seward

Gary Seward of Aberdeen died Wednesday, March 8 at Harford Memorial Hospital. He was 74. Born in Baltimore, MD he was the son of the late Carl and Lucille (Cain) Seward. A member of the American Legion Post # 128, Mr. Seward retired as a police officer having worked for both the Aberdeen Police Dept. and the Baltimore City Police Department. He was also a Quality Assurance Specialist. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Edith (Slind) Seward; son, Darren Seward of Reisterstown, MD; sister, Virginia Williams (Roger) of MD; three grandchildren; mother –in-law, Hermine Slind Butcher; sister-in-law, Laura Johnson (Chuck); nephew, Glenn Richardson (Libby); niece, Diane Moore and many other numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his son, David Seward (1983), brothers Carl and Wesley Seward and his sister, Jean Gravenhorst.
