Lore Annemarie Weaver

Lore Annemarie Weaver, formerly of Churchville, died peacefully at home on Friday, March 31. Born and raised in Kassel, Germany where she worked as nurse before coming to the United States as a military wife. She continued to volunteer her services throughout her husband's career. She ultimately retired after 20 years from the retail industry as a store manager. Lore and her husband enjoyed many years of traveling in Europe, around the United States, and taking day trips. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Weaver is survived by her daughters, Elaine A. Sander of Bear, DE and Vicki M. Gillespie and her husband Allen, Jr. of Havre de Grace; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Bryan, Craig and wife Beth and Kristin and husband Brandon and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Maj. (Ret) Ronald G. Weaver in 2012 and her son Mark S. Weaver in 2016. A memorial service will be held at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, P.A. on Thursday, April 6 at 2:00pm. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery.
