Mary Elizabeth Wilkes

Mary Elizabeth Wilkes died Monday, April 10 at her home in Aberdeen. She was 68. Born in New York, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Helen Fitzgerald. A member of Grace United Methodist Church, she enjoyed crocheting, bird watching, spending time with her family, her cat Precious and being outside with her friends and family. She also enjoyed greeting all of the neighborhood kids in the morning on their way to school. She is survived by her daughters; Christine Bush of Aberdeen and Penny Wilson of Pylesville, siblings; Tommy, Patrick, Jolene and Debbie and her grandchildren; Arianna, Catalina, Elijah, Daniel, Matthew and Zachary. A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 22 from 9-10am at Grace United Methodist Church where a memorial service will begin at 10:00am. Contributions may be made to Grace United Methodist Church Wednesday night dinners, 110 W. Bel Air Ave., Aberdeen, MD 21001.
