Born in Ridgway, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Appalonia (Lenze) Brasuell. She was the wife of the late Eugene Arthur 'Archie' Connelly, whom she married in 1953. She was predeceased by a son Kevin, a brother, Charles, and two sisters, Mary Ann and Ruth. Ruth, I'm very sorry for your loss. I hope you can take comfort in how much your mom was loved and as the gospel said last Sunday.....Jesus is preparing a room for us in his father's house. I always find peace with that gospel...I hope you do too.

Ms. Connelly was a wonderful teacher and person. My girls were truly blessed to be able to attend her preschool. I'll never forget her helping me with Christina's birthday party after the birth of Christina's little sister, Amy. That's the kind of person she was. My condolences to Pat, Mike, Ruth and your families.

So sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. I love the picture in her obituary. She looks beautiful just like I remember her when she taught my sons in nursery school in the early 80s. She was such a special lady and was loved by all her students and the parents of her students. She touched many lives and I will always remember her. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. May God comfort you and give you peace. Sharon & Don Sturgis Pocomoke City, MD 21851
