Joyce G. Crothers

Joyce G. Crothers of Aberdeen died Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Citizens Care Center. She was 88. Born in Havre de Grace, MD she was the daughter of the late Cloy and Pauline (Stewart) Gahagan and wife of the late Edward W. Crothers. Mrs. Crothers was the secretary for her husband plumbing business, Crothers’ Plumbing. An active member of the former Deer Creek Harmony Presbyterian Church, she was also a member of the Maryland Master Plumber Association Women’s Auxiliary a volunteer at Citizens Care Center and she enjoyed traveling. She is survived by her children, Bruce Crothers and wife Susan of Aberdeen, Paula Thetford and husband Bill of Lewes, DE, Lynn Crothers of Aberdeen, Deleen Vincenti and husband Tom of Aberdeen, Brent Crothers and wife Gina of Bel Air, Bradley Crothers and wife Penny of Aberdeen and Brooks Crothers and wife Libby of Aberdeen. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. A visitation will be held at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home on Thursday, August 17 from 4-7pm where a memorial service will begin at 7:00pm.
