Obituary

Mary Darleen "Moe" Unglesbee died at her home in Bel Air on Saturday, October 7. She was 76. Born in Baltimore she was the daughter of the late Robert & Margaret (Scherer) Wieners, Sr. and wife of the late David Barry "Pop" Unglesbee, who died in 2005. Mrs. Unglesbee had worked in customer service at the former Montgomery Ward at Harford Mall. She also worked for Merry-Go Round, where she designed store front windows. A gifted and talented crafter, she enjoyed painting, sewing and crocheting. After retirement she enjoyed showing her dogs in obedience or taking them to local nursing homes as therapy dogs. However her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her grandchildren. Along with her late husband, she would often be found attending their sporting events, concerts, taking them on vacations from Maine to Florida or at the dinner table doing crafts with them. It was because of that love shown to them that she was able to pass at her home with dignity, for it was the two oldest granddaughters that gave her around the clock care. She is survived by her children; David J. of Cambridge, Mary K. of Bel Air, Steven B. of Bel Air and K. Amy (Donny Collier, Sr.) of Aberdeen; grandchildren, Laura, Megan, Steven, Kevin, Olivia, Hannah, Donny, Jr. and Brandon; great grandchildren, Kyllie, Landon, Alex and Carter. She is also survived by her brother, Robert J. Wieners, Jr. of Bel Air. A visitation will be held at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home on Thursday, October 12 from 6-8pm. A private graveside service will be held on Friday, October 13. Interment will be in Darlington Cemetery. in lieu of flowers contributions in her memory can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, D.C. 20090-6011 or at alz.org.

My grandma was known as Moe Moe or Moe to us kids. She was an amazing woman. She loved all of us and her husband. Moe Moe will always be in my heart. When I was little, she would take me to the zoo and she even went to my pre-k graduation. Though, this was all before she lost her memories. It’s okay though, she will always have a place in my heart and I love her so much. I love you Moe Moe.💛
