Beulah Jane Porter

Beulah Jane (Bea) Omohundro Porter, 92, of Aberdeen MD, passed away on October 6, 2017, at her home surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Lemuel E. Porter, Jr. Born February 8, 1925 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late James B. Omohundro and Lillian Omohundro Walters, and stepdaughter of George V. Walters. Mrs. Porter is survived by her children, Gerald “Jary” Porter of San Francisco, CA, Sharon Lynn Carrick and husband Jeff of Port Deposit, MD; her granddaughters: Tiffany Lynn Reynolds and husband John, Laurie Lea Flaugher and husband Brian, and Kimie Ann Evans and husband Tony: her great grandchildren: Vincent, Nathan, Ethan, Gavin, Jakob, Natalie, and Gracie; her siblings: LaVerne O. Lewis, she was predeceased by her brother James “Bear” Omohundro, Jr. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who was happiest when she was spending time with her family. She enjoyed spoiling the grandchildren and great grandchildren every chance she got. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, 333 S. Parke Street, Aberdeen, MD. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 10:00am at St. Joan of Arc Church, 222 Law Street, Aberdeen, MD. Father William F. Franken will officiate. Interment will be held following the mass at Harford Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen. Serving as pallbearers will be John Reynolds, Brian Flaugher, Tony Evans, Vincent Goldstone, Nathan Reynolds, Ethan Flaugher, Gavin Evans, and Jakob Flaugher.
