My condolences to the Family and Friends. She's gone from our visual view, but Judy will always be remembered as one of the longest standing Presidents of WACVA Ch70!! I followed her as President 2016-2017. What an honor to serve the military men and women in the Va Hospitals of Md and surrounding community with Judy. Thanks for sharing Judy with the Military community so many years. Well done Judy Fortier!! Peace be with you All! Phyllis

My deepest sympathies to the Fortier family and friends at a most difficult time. Death is something one is never prepared for. Our heavenly Father put “eternity within our hearts” (Ecclesiastes 3:11). He created us to live forever and has promised to "swallow up death forever" in the near future. (Isaiah 25:8) As you await this time, continue to reflect on loving memories of your loved one.

We arrived in Aberdeen, a military family with no ties or friends in the `70,s. five children, two boys and three girls. Looking for activities for the children we found soft ball for the girls. Little did we know that it would lead to a scholarship in softball at Minnesota for one girl child and a scholarship at Va tech for qnother. I feel that Judy was very influential that process. We spent many dqys and evenings at soft ball games cheering the girls on. Without this influence we may never have known the fun and comrederie that Judy inspired.

My condolences to Judy's family. I was around her a good bit, especially in the early 90s, through the Aberdeen VFW Ladies Auxiliary. I respected Judy for her honor to our country and really saw in her the patriotism she had for our country. My prayers and sympathy to all her family.
