I was devastated to hear of the loss of my wonderful Aunt Eleanor this morning. She was an inspiration to many of us. She will be missed by all who knew her. She had a terrific laugh and she loved her work. Working right into her 80's!! She loved her family and was very proud of all of them. I know that she loved her life with Carolyn, Kenny, Rosie, little Kenny and Carly and seeing them daily. Pat, Bobby, David, Janet and Eddie- my thoughts are with all of you as well as Krista and the girls and Megan and your families. I am so sorry to lose her. But I know she will always have a place in heaven. Dr. Sharon Welsh Hockessin, Delaware

Pat, Bob, David, Eddy, Carolyn, and Janet - I am so very sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I have such fond memories of her, as my babysitter from 1975-1979, and of you all. You treated me as one of the family while I was in your home. I will cherish the memories of summer day trips to the beach as well as tennis lessons, and playing Dutch Blitz. Again, I am so sorry for your loss. Kim (Alejo) Bender

To Caroline, Kenny and Janet - We were so sorry to hear of Mrs Wright's passing. She was such a wonderful lady and I would always talk to her in Walmart. I have a special place for her in my heart. When I was a young mother and looking for a reliable sitter to get my daughter on and off the bus to HCS, she was recommended to me and she took my daughter (Kimberly Alejo) in and gave me such peace of mind. For that I am eternally grateful! I will miss seeing her in Walmart. She always had a big smile! She will surely be missed by all but she is in a far better place now. You have our deepest ssympahy. I was so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I worked with Eleanor at the Colonel's Choice. I was in high school at the time and then would work on my breaks from college. I always thought your mom was a very classy lady, always kind, caring, and had a lovely smile. Over the years I would enjoy our chats each time I would run into at Wal-Mart - and she just never seemed to age. To be remembered with such fondness means she lived her life well. She will be missed - but never forgotten. Laurie (Raymond) Dawson

To all of Eleanor's family, my deepest condolences on the loss of your mom. Eleanor and I were friends and classmates at Aberdeen High. We both stayed in Aberdeen, worked, married, raised a family, stayed in touch, had parallel lives in many ways. Such a long friendship is a treasure. May she rest in peace, free from all cares.
