I will always cherish the memories I have of just chatting with Uncle Ralph. He always had a funny story to tell and a smile on his face. One of my favorite memories of him is watching him try to fix a picnic table the day of the Armour Reunion. Patrick, Maureen, Karen, Kevin and Shannon- you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Love to all of you. Candy Armour

The first time I met him I was 10 years old. I had come back from a camping trip and he'd just started dating my mom shortly before. I don't remember what was on it but he gave me a necklace because all little girls love jewelry. And all the days out on the farm helping plant, weed, and harvest.

What a special man. My uncle kind of, a best friend, hunting and fishing buddies, and firewood cutting partner for over 30 years. In those thirty years and all those hours together I learned a lot from him . Our time together never got old and I always looked forward to the next time. I loved that man . I’m so sad that I’m in Iowa and won’t be able to pay my respects to the family.

To Shannon, Maureen, Karen, Pat, and Kevin, so sorry for the passing of your father! Glad he is at peace, not suffering any longer. May he truly find peace for all eternity, and may you all find your peace knowing that he is at rest. Thinking of you, very sorry I cannot be there on Saturday. You all are so gracious in honoring his life, it is easy to see how wonderful your Mother was and the influence your Dad had on you all! Prayers are with you in this difficult time!
