I remember Janet mostly in the kitchen with Uncle Pat leaning his elbows on the kitchen table looking out the window. I didn't get to see her much since we live in Minnesota but I always thought she was very kind. Blessed be her memory.
Her loving niece,

I'll always remember the summer I spent in Maryland with Grandma and Grandpa Posten, Uncle Pat and Aunt Janet, My husband (Greg Baklund ) was in the Army and stationed in New Jersey and we couldn't find housing, so I stayed in Maryland. Janet would take me shopping and to the movies and even to the Ocean!...we had a great time! Even though she is my husband's Aunt, I feel she was my Aunt too! Rest in peace Janet,....... I knew Janet through the walking sport of Volksmarching. Janet, Jill Mussen and I spent many Saturdays travelling to different sites to do 6 mile walks called Volksmarches. We also went on Volksmarching bus trips and our own car trips across the United States. We saw many sights and had a great deal of fun along the way. I sometimes thought that Janet and I might be related as her Mother's maiden name was Wright and my Great-Grandmother's maiden name was Wright. Rest in Peace Janet......Stashia Goray

"I would like to thank her family and friends for loving her and taking care of Janet and especially Jeff and Betsy who saw the need for her to get the help she needed. She was a dear sister who sent Hallmark cards for every occasion." Written by Betty Baklund, sister of Janet. (Posted by Judy (Baklund) Borscheid, daughter of Betty Baklund)

My thoughts are with the family of Janet. May the words in Phil. 4:6,7 give you peace from God to guard your mind and heart.
