To Miss. Betty's family. I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Ms. Betty. She was a lovely person. I enjoyed working with her at school, and her showing me how to use the laminating machine. She always shared her chocolate candy. Helped with the Book Fairs, and the kids activities. She loved those kids to pieces. We have a beautiful angel watching over us. Rest in Peace Ms. Betty. Love you and will Miss You. Carolyn Cook

My condolences to the family and friends of Miss Betty.
I had the pleasure of meeting and "working with" her as a volunteer at GLES. She had such a zest for life. She loved the children and they loved her. She gave so much of herself to the school, she will be dearly missed by all!

My family and I just celebrated 8 years in our home this Halloween. My son was just turning two years old when we moved in next door to Ms. Betty. The week of Halloween she greeted us with a pan of brownies. Told me to be careful because they were still hot. She told us a little about the neighborhood, school, and some about the house we moved in to. She was always curious of the changes the renovators made before we moved in.
The first week, I could not figure out why the trash people would not take our stuff. She was there, with a helping hand, to tell me about Aberdeen's sticker system and even gave me one for the following week.
Since then, my family has always tried to be a helping hand. All she had to do was ask. She was like a grandmother to me and my family (Both of my grandmothers passed when I was young). As, Braydon grew, he learned to help out too. He would shovel her snow, bring her flowers, and go visit just so she had some company. My youngest, Nicholas, just started helping with snow this pass winter. He was so excited he shoveled her driveway all by himself (His older brother shoveled it an hour before ;). Nicholas also loved to help plant her flowers on the side of her house each spring.
Over the years, I am sure we have helped her and her family more them we think, but what she doesn't know is that she helped my boys grow into wonderful helpful children. My sons grew up learning and knowing we helped Ms. Betty and anyone else who needed help not because we wanted something in return but because we were able and should. Oh, they would still be ecstatic when she would have pizza deliver for us or give them something small for their hard work.
Ms. Betty helped teach them about respect, being kind, and loving others. I am so thankful my family moved in next to her. She gave then the greatest lessons in life and she will always have a special place in our hearts.
love, Lisa and feldman family

Jackie, Rhonda, Art, and Rich, thank you for sharing your beautiful, loving mom with me. I am one of the lucky ones to have found a second Mother’s love. I will miss my daily hugs. I know my mom was waiting with her arms wide open, giving Ms. Betty a hug and thanking her for being so kind. If you could imagine one of the nicest gifts anyone could receive, you would begin to understand what your presence in my life has meant to me. I love you. God Bless our Beautiful Angel

I first met Ms. Betty when my son was at Hilladale and then she came to the salon. What a wonderful lady, I enjoyed our talks and will miss seeing her every few weeks. The world needs more people like Ms. Betty!❤️
