Miss Kelly was my teacher when I was in fourth grade. She was always smiling and laughing and took such good care of us. She made me want to be a teacher. I like to think she would be proud of how I have taken care of my own students. I thank her for a wonderful 4th grade year and she will be forever in my heart. I still think of her and my classmates from that year because it was so special to me. I thank God for Miss Kelly and know she will be missed by family and friends.

I was sorry to hear of the recent passing of Miss Sharren Kelly. She was my fourth grade at Bel Air Elementary School. She was an excellent teacher and very caring toward her students. My brother and sister had her for fourth grade as well. I did get a see her at the New Years Eve parties long time ago at the Foster's Place in Bel Air. I send my deepest sympathy to her family on this sad occasion. Her legacy will live on forever. May the angels guide her soul to eternal rest. Ellen Hopkins (BAES 1970-1971).

Miss Kelly was a wonderful teacher -- and someone I will always remember. I even remember when she showed us pictures from her trip to Hawaii. You were an inspiration for all teachers, Miss Kelly, and you were my absolute favorite. Rest in peace, kind soul.
