I had the privilege of working with Joel for a short time at Home Depot on the MET Team. He was a kind and gentle person. We had a lot of laughs and conversations about our friends and families. He also had a smile on his face. I think he just loved people and life it self. He would always ask how I was and how my Mother was doing, who is a cancer survivor.
I'm very sorry for your loss and I know he will be missed greatly. May you know the presence of God and may He comfort you in your time of loss.

Joel was a good man and he will be dearly missed. I enjoyed talking to him. We generally talked about hunting, fishing, sports, politics, and work. He was the kind of guy you definitely missed when he was not around. A few yeays ago we attended the wild game feast at our church we had a great time. This year he went on to be with the LORD a few days before the wild game feast. He enjoyed nature and I know he would have liked to have been there, I sure missed him and it wasn't the same for me without him there. Dear GOD please bless and comfort the family he leaves behind.

I am very sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you in this difficult time. I hope you may find comfort at Revelation 21:4, “And he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” We can look forward to the time when God will take away all reasons for distress and he even gives us a hope of a resurrection. (Acts 24:15) I hope this promise brings you comfort as it does me.
