Ingeborg and I shared a love of working in our yards. My home is several houses up the street from hers and we could wave to each other in the mornings when we would be working in our front yards. Unlike my appearance in old clothes and windblown hair, Inge always dressed and did her hair like she was going out. She looked as neat as her yard did. Occasionally, I would walk down the street and we would chat for awhile. She was always so friendly. The posted picture is the Ingeborg I shall remember.

I enjoyed our talks, and her stories... I was happy to relive some memories of my oma through her stories... I never met anyone that spoke so highly of their spouse as her, she lite candles for all her deceased friends she out lived and amazed me on remembering peoples birthdates even if they were deceased... A very strong women at her age I admired that... She called me her lil angel all because I helped her out but in fact I found her to be mine on those not so positive days as she encouraged me.... Rest in peace Miss Inga...

Inga, Beth and I will miss you! You were one of the first neighbors to welcome us and our newborn (Jesse) into the neighborhood 19 years ago. Jesse will miss all the German chocolate that you always gave him for cleaning the snow from your driveway and car. You were such a sweet person I enjoyed listening to you telling Jesse all about the war and your home town! God bless you.
