Ruth Seibert Hiob

Ruth Seibert Hiob passed away 6/25/2019 surrounded by family. Ruth was born on 6/29/1924 and worked in her father’s grocery store, Seibert’s Market until obtaining a short term position at APG. In her younger days she enjoyed horseback riding and bowling on the church women’s bowling league. She was an excellent homemaker and enjoyed cooking and baking. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Aberdeen. She met her husband in Sunday School at the first church on Spesutia Road. Years ago she volunteered assembling the church bulletin, served as an offering counter and also as a Greeter at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Its current location. She was married to her late husband, Charles G. Hiob, Jr for 67 years. Ruth is survived by her son and daughter; Charles G. Hiob, III and his wife, Jane Hiob. daughter Pamela Hiob Coakley and her husband Steve Coakley. She also is survived by her grandchildren Tiffany Noel Hiob and her fiancé Eric Wagoner; Christian Coakley and his fiancée Anna Sanderlin and one great grandchild Aidan Coakley. A visitation will be held at Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, P.A., 333 S. Parke St., Aberdeen, MD 21001 on Sunday June 30, 2019 from 4-7:00 p.m. She will be Interred at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery on Monday July 1, 2019 at 11:00 am with Pastor Stuart Luce officiating. Memorials May be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in lieu of flowers.
