We shared many good years as associates when we were working, you in personnel and I in testing; but we became close friends as members of the Aberdeen Lions Club. It's been a long battle and now you can rest in peace.

My head is still trying to wrap around the fact that Uncle Larry is gone. I always enjoyed our conversations between the airport and condo. Prayers to your family. Shirley Goforth

Dear Charlotte Ann, Melissa, Tony, and Emily, I can't believe Uncle Larry is gone. He has been a pillar in the Simmons family, and will be missed by so many. He and Charlotte visited my mom so many times after she went to live in assisted living. They came to visit me after I had my knee replacement - even though it was about a two-hour drive. They watched over Uncle Dewey and others, in their times of need. Uncle Larry was the kind of person anyone could talk to. He was so friendly, had a vast knowledge about so many things, and was always kind. I will never forget this sweet, loving man who meant so much to so many. My heart goes out to Charlotte Ann, Melissa, and Tony. Love you all, Mary Forney
