What fun we had on C Pier together!. You and Gary and Don Taylor sitting at the picnic table and waving at us when we came back off the water. It was like coming home. And lets not forget your laughter and your smile. I'm sure you are with the love of your life.....rest in peace sweet Ruth and God bless.

We didn't know Ruth for long, but in the short year we did know her, she shared a lifetime of sweetness and fun memories. Like us, our dogs warmed to her instantly and always looked forward to the treats she would bring them. We'll miss seeing her smile each day across the fence, hearing wonderful stories about her amazing life, and just enjoying her company. Thank you, Ruth; for being the best neighbor we've ever had. :)

Ruth, I’m Gary’s brother and going back in time in 1963 I went to Rhumannsfelden and met your wonderful Mother and Trautl and Ludwig the barber—we talked in German. Over the years our paths have crossed. I’ve been studying your strategy for story-telling. When you talk people listen and come and laugh. Thank you for marrying Gary and letting our family be part of your wonderful story. We'll see you again. Dave and Anne Maughan, adavidmaughan@gmail.com
