Papa Zim (as Alexis called him) inspired her to be her BEST....when she would say “I SUCK”, he would say “YES”, now do BETTER😂. He told her “he was the only one who could say that to her”!! He was a father to her in so many ways. RIP Papa Zim🥎💙💛⚡️🦅

To a great guy, Greg Zimmerman, you will surely be missed. I’ve known Greg since my son, Frank Johnson, was in middle school. He was such an awesome man, great family man, wonderful father and an excellent coach. Greg has loved softball ever sense I’ve known him. I coached their little league team through Parks and Rec (Churchville and Aberdeen). This man made a huge impact on lots of young girls. You and you’re family will be in my thought and prayers, and you will definitely be missed by many. I won’t forget that beautiful smile and friendly voice whenever I saw him. Love you Greg! Becky and Emma, if you need anything at all just give me a call. Pat Johnson 443-910-0321

Greg was one of the realist people I've ever met. For as great of a person, he was just as humble. His laugh was so contagious and to hear him tell a story would leave your sides hurting. I consider myself to be blessed to have known the Z man and hopefully I can be even half the man you were buddy.. You will be missed my friend and I'll see you again on the diamond in the sky holding down the hot corner...

We have just learned of this and with great sorry we send this. We knew Greg most of his life. Greg and our son , Michael Erickson, went to school together and both shared the love of baseball. Greg will be mixed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. Merlin & Marilyn Erickson
