So sorry for your loss. We had the pleasure to get to know Lefty over the years working with him at Ruggles Golf Course and of course his family as well who was always golfing. We last ran into them out for lunch it was so fun to reminisce with them. I can still see him at the golf course when we would all share stories together he would shake his head and laugh. May his memories live in your heart forever. Love, The Smith Family Mike,Shelly,Michael & Michelle

The one and only time I met Mr. Mowchan was when he accompanied my third-grade class on a school trip from Aberdeen to New York City with my classmates and teacher Mrs. Mowchan in 1962-1963. The chaperones for the trip were Mrs. Mowchan, a bunch of mothers and Mr. Mowchan! We arrived at Penn Station in the early morning (there was construction taking place there because the new Madison Square Garden was being constructed above the old Penn Station!) and Mr. Mowchan opened his umbrella and held it high above our group in order for everyone to see and stay together in the crowd! Without Mr. Mowchan holding up his colorful umbrella, there could be lost third graders and mothers from Bakersfield Elementary School roaming New York City to this day! Hard to believe that such a school tour of NYC could take place!
