She will be missed. I know she was so loved by her family. I remember Nana & my husband enjoying an old Johnny Carson show that appeared on an older network. This was Thanksgiving 2024, she was laughing and enjoying it. RIP Mrs Albritten such a wonderful lady

One of the sweetest ladies, who I considered my mom #2, since half my waking hours were spent at their home. Even after my family left Aberdeen, I kept in touch. I remember stopping by their home, unannounced, in my 30’s. I asked if Jeff could “come out to play”. One double take, and she knew it was “Johnny”. I’ll never forget her tasty green beans w/molasses.❤️

Carol came to Brightview around the same time I started so I got to know her and her family very well over the years. Whether it was getting her medicine, going to a meal, or just walking down the hall, she always had a joke to crack and would make anyone around her bust out in laughter.Carol was the kind of person you would go out of your way to see because you know she would somehow make your day just a little better. She will be missed, but never forgotten at Brightview.

On Saturday, January 17, I lost the person who brought me into this world and who cared for me and watched out for me for the last 62 years. She was my mother, my guide and my inspiration my entire life. I always knew I could call her and get an honest, but loving response to whatever I was dealing with. She passed on her love for music and pizza to me, along with her love for life. She was the most patient and selfless human being I have ever known. She lived an exemplary life that anyone would be proud to emulate. Mom, words cannot describe how much I miss you and will think of you everyday of the rest of my life. I am happy that your suffering has ended and that you are finally reunited with Dad, Grandmom, Granddad, all of your aunts and all of your friends. I love you more than I can share and the hole in my heart will never heal. Your loving son, Jeff Allbritten
