Katherine Anne Ridgaway

Katherine Anne Ridgaway, 70, of Aberdeen, MD, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2021 at Hart Heritage Estate in Street, MD. Born on October 4, 1950 in Baltimore, MD, Katherine was the daughter of the late Clarence and Dorothy Kelly. She earned a BA in Psychology from Frostburg State University and worked at the ARC of Harford County until the birth of her sons. She was an active member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening and home decorating. Surviving to cherish her memory are her two sons: Michael Ridgaway and his wife Evangeline, and their children Connor and Lyra of Baltimore, and Matthew Ridgaway and his partner April Foreman of Aberdeen; and her brother, Thomas Kelly and his wife Debbie of Rockledge, Florida. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Charles “Mike” Ridgaway and her sister Sharren Kelly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 257 Law Street, Aberdeen, MD 21001 on Monday January 11, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Harford Memorial Gardens.
