Suzanne G Shreve

Suzanne G Shreve, 95, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away January 8, 2021 at Hart Heritage Estates in Street, MD. Born in Pittsburgh, PA on August 17, 1925, Suzanne was the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Galloway. After raising her 8 children, at the age of 40 she went to nursing school and became a registered nurse and pursued a career that took her from the first Coronary Care Unit at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace to Utah, California and New Mexico. She was also a long time Girl Scout Leader and enjoyed bird watching, gardening, crossword puzzles and traveling. She also enjoyed sewing and quilting. She was a member of the Harford County Quilting Guild. Surviving to cherish her memory are children Nancy Mezan of Churchville, MD; Peter Shreve and wife Sue of Sierra Vista, AZ; JoAnne Mayne and husband Bert of Schoharie, NY; Marianne Koch and husband Joe of Havre de Grace, MD; Patty Shreve and husband David of Salt Lake City, UT; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband William A Shreve, her sons Allan and Phillip Shreve and her daughter Rosalie Emmons.
