For her family my heart goes out to you. I was so lucky to have known such a beautiful lady. Fun, caring, supportive, so many wonderful things I could say about her. So glad I could say she was a very special friend.

Judy was my friend, mother-in-law and grandmother to our children for nearly 30 years. During this time she never imposed on us and always enjoyed the time we shared together. Judy was independent and kept to herself. She lived her life the way she wanted to live. It was a privledge to have her in our lives. She was never a burden or demanding and she loved her son and daughter so much. I will miss our good times.

My mom enjoyed the quiet and solitude of reading a good book, drinking a glass of iced tea and watching her beloved Orioles, Ravens, and Terps. She adored Christmas, and decked our halls on Leiden Road with absolute delight every year, singing "We need a little Christmas!", wrapping presents better than any professional gift wrapper (even tying tiny bells on each one), and baking ten varieties of cookies which we weren't allowed to enjoy until Christmas eve. Years later, Jim and I admitted we used to sneak down to the basement to eat a few, unbeknownst to Mom :-) What I miss most is her calling me to tell me something funny she read or heard. She was a thoughtful Mom and Grandmom and a dedicated friend to the lucky few she allowed into her life. She will be greatly missed.

I remember Judy’s love for greeting cards especially Hallmark. So much that Jimmy would draw a crown on the back of his hand made cards he made in grade school. Judy amazed me with her decluttering ability. She could have taught Marie Kondo a thing or two. If she was finished with some thing she got rid of it. I always think I will need it some day. She was a special person and she will be remembered.
