Donna I believe was everyone’s friend and that girl’s girl. As a classmate you could always count on her joyful laughing and infectious smile. She gave you encouragement and didn’t hold back any compliments that made you feel seen. I ran track with Donna and shared many high school memories. Thanks to our 30th High School reunion we reconnected and have been able to continue to enjoy company in person and by phone. She was still that girl’s girl. I am still processing. My greatest joy came from sharing the Bible’s promise— I know her future is secure in God’s Kingdom to come in Paradise on earth. Revelation 21:3,4, John 5:28,29. Rest well my friend until Paradise💕🫶🏽❤️

I met Donna in 2001 after relocation to DC to work for a start-up TV station. Donna worked for our group and we became friends. She introduced me to freelancing at Comcast SportsNet where we worked together for 15 years. We were out of touch for several years but reconnected in 2025. It was wonderful. She thought of me as a sister. We went through similar experiences and we supported each other. We had a standing game "Breaking news". The goal was to see who would call first in hearing a breaking news event. Silly maybe but it was "our thing". Donna was had passion about many things. She felt what others felt and could communicate and empathize completely. I will miss her dearly. Her last voicemail to me was on 4/4/26 she said "I'm out and about but I wanted you to know I'm thinking of you. I love you and please be safe". Donna was supporting me through some work concerns and truly cared that I was alright. This is who Donna was. She cared to her core. I will miss my friend but God called her home. I have a new angel, her name is Donna.
