Obituary
Doris Kay Wanless passed away October 31, 2021 at the age of 73. Born in Boise, Idaho she was the daughter of the late Doris Harriet(Messick) and Bernard Wood Zahm. Doris Wanless retired from Upper Chesapeake Medical Center after over 30 years in the hospital system as a unit secretary and many other positions. She is survived by her sons, Donald, Robert, and Aaron of Aberdeen, MD; grandchildren Robert and Helen Marie; sister Nancy Schenker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Bernard Zahm.
A visitation in her honor will be held on Saturday, November 20th from 3-6 pm at Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home in Aberdeen, MD. All family and friends are welcome to celebrate the life of Doris Kay Wanless.

I worked with Doris many years at Harford Memorial Hospital. She taught me a lot as a new charge nurse and we had lots of laughs together. She was a hard worker and very conscientious. She was an icon on the 3-11 shift for so many years. She always talked about her boys. My deepest condolences to her family. 💕
