Obituary
Richard H. Shuck "Buddy" passed away on April 3, 2026 at his home. He is survived by his wife Betty J. Shuck, son Paul Shuck, sister Minnie Plichta, step-sons Carl Strecker and Russell Strecker, daughter-in-law Denise Strecker. He is also survived by his grandsons David Strecker and James Strecker along with numerous nieces, nephews and many great friends.
The family requests no flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society or Lung Association.

My grandfather for as long as I have been alive has silently showed me how to be a good man from basically working nights for basically the entire time i have been alive to always making sure there was money for memaw to spoil me with snacks with no ask in return to helping my parents when they where at there lowest while in my life he wasn't a man of that many words but one thing that was true is he always believed in me and just wanted success in everyone he cared abouts life i strive to be as great of a man as my grandfather i love you poppop may you rest in peace

Will always remember the cherished moments as a child when my Dad and Buddy worked together, never a day we would come into the boiler plant and Buddy wasn't there waiting to take us to get candy out of the vending machine. I had the honor to work with him after he retired and worked at ABM.. He always brought candy to me when he came down and saw me on timesheet days. He will forever be missed and loved, he was such a wonderful person. I will cherish my santa coffee cup forever.. my condolences to his family and loved ones.
