Obituary
Jonathan A. Zamora, age 40, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 4, 2022 at his home in Aberdeen, MD.
Jon was born on March 6, 1981 at Great Lakes Naval Hospital in Illinois to Arlene (Anders) Zamora of Aberdeen, MD and Tony Zamora of Vista, CA. He attended Towson High School and received training to obtain his commercial driver’s license.
Affectionately called “Uncle Jon” by his friends and family, he loved long-haul truck driving, his dog Rosie and playing with his nephews. He enjoyed a cold beer, preferably Budweiser, by campfire and watching football.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his twin sister, Jessica R. Zamora, and his nephews, Ryan A. Edwards, Jordan Z. Exum and Maxwell C. Exum as well as two stepbrothers, Karl Joseph and Juan Anthony Zamora both of Washington State.
A visitation will be held at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, P.A. on Thursday, February 17 from 6-8pm. All are invited to attend.
