Helen Mae Wachter

Helen Mae Wachter of Havre de Grace passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022 at Citizens Care Center in Havre de Grace. She was 91. Born in Thurmont, MD she was the daughter of the late Emory and Catherine (Shellenberger) Moser and wife of the late Brigadier General Barb L. Wachter who died in 2019. Helen and Barb were members of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Aberdeen, Maryland. Helen is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Wachter of Havre de Grace and Patricia Wachter and son in law Rick Hudak of Bel Air; grandsons, Scott Monks and wife Katie of Joppa and Derek Monks and wife Stacey of Jacksonville, FL and her four great grandchildren, Jack, Emily, Jeremy and Henry. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by her 10 siblings. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Hopewell United Methodist Church.
