Providencia Zeigler

Providencia Zeigler passed away on Saturday, July 23 at her home in Aberdeen. She was 98. Born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico she was the daughter of the late Antonio Bravo and Amparo Gil, and and wife of the late Capt. Victor Marquez who died in 1982 and Robert Zeigler who passed in 2016. A homemaker, Mrs. Zeigler was very active in the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Havre de Grace. She enjoyed playing solitaire on the computer and was a member of the Aberdeen Moose. She is survived by her children; Myriam Marquez, Awilda Marquez, Victor Marquez, Jr. and William Marquez; grandchildren, Gina Beaudette, Melanie Langley, Tabitha Chambers and Ashley Ayers. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husbands she was predeceased by her grandchildren, Amy Langley and Jessica Langley Marquez and her brother, Juan Rejio Bravo. A visitation will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 3836 Level Rd., Havre de Grace, MD on Saturday, July 30 from 10am-11am followed by a funeral service at 11:00am. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery.
