Minerva Marie Thompson

Minerva Marie Thompson of Perryman, MD passed away on Wednesday, July 6 at Endearment Assisted Living in Elkton, MD. She was 98. Born in Glade Spring, VA she was the daughter of the late Hobert and Cora (Blevins) Hall and wife of the late Clark P. Thompson. She was the remaining member of a large family with 8 brothers and sisters (Roy Hall, Georgia Henderson, James Hall, Charles Hall, Wiley (Henley) Hall, Lewis Hall, Rosie Sawyer and Robert Hall). Mrs. Thompson was a loving mother and homemaker who worked for many years at the Bata Shoe Company and the F.O. Mitchell and Bro. Canning House in Perryman, MD. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and would spend countless hours on the phone connecting with people she loved. She is survived by her son Kenneth P. Thompson and his wife Deborah of Havre de Grace; grandchildren, Brooke Thompson and Hayley Schoner (Matthew) and her great granddaughter, Madison Schoner. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 14 from 10-11am at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home where a funeral service will begin at 11:00am followed by Interment at Harford Memorial Gardens.
