Harry Edward Phillips, 80, of Havre de Grace, Maryland, passed away on October 9, 2026. Born in Havre de Grace on September 15, 1946, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Myrtle Phillips. His wife Joann Lillian Phillips passed away on July 31, 2026.
Mr. Phillips worked for many years as a skilled tool and die maker with Martin Marietta. Known for his quiet dedication and strong work ethic, he took great pride in his craft and the precision it required.
An avid bass fisherman, he spent countless peaceful hours on the water and cherished the outdoors throughout his life.
He is survived by his son, Howard Timms of Havre de Grace; two grandchildren; he was preceded in death by his brother, Lloyd Phillips II; his sisters, Betty and Dorothy his son, Mark W. Timms who passed away on September 1, 2009.
