David Aaron Nelson

David Aaron Nelson of Aberdeen passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022 at the age of 61. Born in Norfolk, VA, he was the son of the late Louis Nelson and Patricia (DeBerry) Rucker. He graduated from Rider College, NJ, with a business degree and was the owner of Absolutely Clean Carpets, LLC. Dave had a love of cars, following the stock market, debating current events, took pride in home improvement projects, and spending time with family and his close friends. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Diane (Lootens) Nelson; siblings Dana Partelow (John) and Stuart Nelson; step-father, Ingo Rucker; nieces and nephews Josh (Lindsay), Amanda (Scott), Alex, Molly (Isaac), Gigi, Kyle and Erin and great niece Whitney; sisters-in-law Carol Lootens, Janet Hanratty (Tim) and Linda Siegel (Dave). He was predeceased by his sisters Robin Nelson and Susan Dixon. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2022 from 4 to 6 pm at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, P.A. in Aberdeen, followed by a memorial service at 6 pm.
